Kolkata 11 August : Howrah City Police of West Bengal on Thursday morning detained a housewife, Pallabi Ghosh, following the fact that she murdered the other four members of the family on Wednesday night.However her husband and her co-accused in the gruesome crime, Debraj Ghosh, is disappearing.The four victims killed were Debraj’s mom Minati Ghosh (55) as well as his older brother Debasish Ghosh (36), his wife and daughter, Rekha Ghosh (30) and Tiyasha Ghosh (13) respectively.
Police sources stated that the brother-sister relationship was very strained for an extended period of time.
On Wednesday evening, they engaged in an argument of words.Then, shortly after, Debraj and his wife Pallabi Ghosh entered their bedroom with knives and hacked Debasish, Rekha Ghosh and their daughter Tiyasha Ghosh.
When they heard the screams The mother of the children Minati Ghosh rushed to the scene after which she was also attacked.The bleeding Tiyasha was able to escape out of the house.
After recounting the incident to the neighbors who had already gathered outside the residence, she died there.
While the neighbors caught Pallabi with a red hand, Debraj somehow managed to escape.
As he fled, he took away the weapon that he used in the crime.The police of Howrah City Police immediately came to the scene and detained Pallabi.
The police have launched an investigation called a witch-hunt in order to locate Debraj since all police stations have been notified.
