Mumbai 2 September : Megastar Amitabh Bachchan on the sets of “Kaun Banega Crorepati” was able to go back in time with one contestant who revealed his dad’s strict views.wouldn’t let him play cricket.The actor revealed the way his mom, Teji Bachchan, would be watching cricket commentary in the privacy of his home.The contestant who was involved in the incident Saurabh Shekhar writes: “I have been an avid follower of cricket since my childhood.I was fascinated by the sport as a youngster.When I was a kid, I lived in the village with my family, my father was of the opinion that there was no room for sports.
But I was very enthralled by cricket!”
Shekhar said: “My father used to believe that when he lets us play with siblings in the same way as taking the rod off, and we wouldn’t have to be able to study.There was an era when we didn’t have a television in our house , and there was a game on.My brother was the one who would watch the radio commentary, and there were just some left.”
“In our excitement we went to the neighbour’s home to watch TV and relive the last few leftovers which were left.The moment we left the home our father woke up and all was chaos.”
Big B too followed Shekhar’s story with his own in which he talked about his mom.He is seen talking about the times when he used to lie under the cover in his bedroom and watch commentary of the transistor from his bed.When his mother spotted his plight, she questioned him and advised him to concentrate on his studies.
