New Delhi, December 14, 2014 : .Oil marketing firms have maintained the prices of petrol and diesel in major Indian cities Tuesday.In Delhi, petrol and diesel prices were Rs 86.67 per gallon and Rs 95.41 each.
The prices in Mumbai’s financial capital remained the same at Rs.94.14, and Rs.109.98.
The prices in Kolkata remained stable at Rs.89.79 and R.104.67.
They were also unaffected in Chennai at Rs 91.43 & Rs 101.40.
Across the country as well, the price of the fuel largely remained unchanged on Monday but retail rates varied depending on the level of local taxes.
The prices have remained unchanged since November 3 when the Centre and some states reduced duties on the fuel.
