The YCP government is becoming more and more obsessed with the Visakhapatnam.Speculations are rife that the YCP govt want to declare Visakhapatnam as the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
There is an interesting debate going on among the YCP leaders that the declaration of Visakhapatnam as the capital is a foregone conclusion for the Amaravati issue.
Jagan, who announced the three capitals two years ago in the name of decentralization, recently repealed the law in the assembly.
However, listening to Finance Minister Bugana Rajendranath Reddy’s statement in the Assembly, it is clear that the government has not withdrawn from the three capitals. Not only that, Bugana has repeatedly mentioned the city of Visakhapatnam.
Speaking on this occasion, Bugana said that our capital city should compete with the major cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai, in five to ten years. From this, we can say that there is no other city in Andhra Pradesh that has better infrastructure than Visakhapatnam.
He said Visakhapatnam has rail, air and seaport connectivity. Also, he said that Visakhapatnam would be a haven for investment.
Based on this, everyone thinks that Visakhapatnam is the new capital of Andhra Pradesh. It seems that the official announcement would be made either on Ugadi on Srirama Navami.
However, there is no official information on this yet!
