USA warns about travel to Germany and Denmark due to Covid surge

Washington, November 23, : , The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued a warning against traveling to Germany and Denmark because of a Covid-19 resurgence.
The two European countries were listed as “Covid-19 Very high” under the Level 4.People shouldn’t travel to them and everyone who does need to go should get fully vaccinated, Xinhua reported.

Covid-19: “Don’t travel to Germany,” added the State Department.It also designated these countries as “Level 4 Do Not Travel”.

Denmark received the same notice from the Department.

At Level Four, the CDC lists 75 locations around the world that have at least 500 new cases for every 100,000 people in 28 days.

The Level 4 category was also expanded last week to include the Czech Republic and Hungary as well Iceland, Iceland, Guernsey, and Iceland.

These travel advisory come as the US opened its borders to foreign travelers earlier in this month after months of Covid-19 travel restrictions.

This policy allows fully-vaccinated foreign travellers to the US to travel if they can show evidence of vaccinations and have a positive Covid-19 test within 3 days.
