Mumbai 13 Aug : Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s latest film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ which is an adaptation of the famous Hollywood film “Forest Gump,” received the thumbs up of The Academy.The official Twitter account of The Academy, which recognizes excellence in motion picture sciences and arts and shared the video compilation of fragments from the film ‘Forest Gump and the Aamir Khan-directed.
A tweet from The Academy called the Bollywood film”a “faithful Indian adaptation”.
“Robert Zemeckis and Eric Roth’s epic story of one man who transforms the world with kindness gets an authentic Indian adaptation in Advait Chandan and Atul Kulkarni’s ‘Laal Sing Chaddha’ film.Aamir Khan in the role that was made famous by Tom Hanks.” said the tweet.
The Academy’s Twitter handle also provide the amount of Oscars nominations that ‘Forest Gump received.

The film was released on August 11, ‘Laal S.Chaddha The film also features Kareena Kapoor Khan Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh.
