Due to Covid Pandemic, UAE government has issued orders lifting restrictions on travelers from several countries.To this end, the government announced on Thursday (August 5) that expatriates can come to the UAE.The announcement was hailed by Indians as well as people from many countries.They rejoiced that their years of anticipation had paid off.With this, they went to book tickets to go back to the UAE.However, as in the past, it is not uncommon to arrive at the airport playing and singing an hour or two before departure.Air India Express, a state-run airline in India, said passengers should arrive at the airport at least six hours in advance.This is because a PCR test negative certificate is mandatory as per the entry rules in the UAE.So Rapid PCR test is performed on every passenger at the airport.These test counters are said to open four hours before travel time.
As well as closing two hours before the flight departure.That is why passengers must arrive at airports at least six hours in advance, Air India Express said in a statement on Wednesday.
It is learned that the UAE has given the green signal to transit flights from India and ten other countries.The list of transit permitting countries includes India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Uganda, Vietnam, South Africa, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Nepal.
Corona said migrants stranded in those countries could return to the UAE by these flights.However, it was clarified that two doses of vaccination should be completed.
Passengers who have taken the second dose 14 days before the trip to the UAE may also come.Similarly, they must show a certificate related to vaccination.
The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has said that key sectors such as health workers (doctors, nurses, technicians) and teaching staff (those working in universities, colleges, schools and other educational institutions) may return to the UAE.
According to the new guidelines, travelers wishing to enter the UAE must apply online through the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship website.Passengers must submit the RTPCR Negative Report within 48 hours of departure along with the vaccination certificate.Also a lab test will be conducted before they board the plane.
Upon arrival in the UAE, the RTPCR test will be conducted once again and transferred to the Home Quarantine.
