Ayodhya 7 August : The Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) has published an inventory of 40 colonisers who are illegal.It include the names of the local BJP MLA Ved Prakash Gupta, a former party MLA Gorakhnath and the Mayor Rishikesh Upadhyay. Sultan Ansari and his father Nanhe Mian, who made 18 crores of rupees out of land worth 2 crore, also appear in the list.
According to ADA officials, a lot of seers also are involved in illegal sales of land and other property.
Ayodhya has been inundated with illegal plots and illegal colonies since the Supreme Court’s verdict in favor of Ram temple.
The debate about plotting illegally and colonies grew after BJP MP Lallu Singh wrote a letter to the Chief Minister inquiring for an SIT investigation into this game of land sales.
Sources claim that a list has been issued by the Revenue Department in this regard.
ADA vice-chairman Vishal Singh stated that investigations were ongoing and that strict action was being taken against those who are guilty.
