New Delhi, Sep 2 : Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s team, the defending champions India Legends will feature Yuvraj Singh Irfan Pathan Harbhajan Singh and more in their team in the second season of the Road Safety World Series (RSWS) which will begin on the 10th of September.In addition to Tendulkar, Yuvraj, Irfan Harbhajan and Irfan The team will consist of Yusuf Pathan, Munaf Patel, Stuart Binny, S.Badrinath, Naman Ojha as wicketkeeper, Manpreet Gong, Pragyan Ojha, Vinay Kumar, Abhimanyu Mithun, Rajesh Pawar and Rahul Sharma.
The tournament’s opening match will take place in Kanpur and Raipur is the venue for the semifinals as well as the final, which will take place on October 1.Other locations include Indore and Dehradun the organisers stated in an announcement to the media on Friday.
New Zealand Legends are the new participants to this year’s edition.
They will be joining the legends of India, Australia, Sri Lanka, West Indies, South Africa, Bangladesh and England at the event.which is primarily aimed at raising awareness of road safety in the country and across the world.
The RSWS is supported by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and the Ministry of Information and Technology and Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India.
