Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah will be sworn in as Andhra Pradesh High Court judge today.He will be administered the oath of office by Chief Justice (CJ) of Andhra Pradesh High court, Justice Arup Kumar Goswami in the High Court at 10 am.The President of India has recently issued orders transferring Justice Amanullah, a former Patna High Court judge, to the Andhra Pradesh state high court.
Justice Amanullah was born on May 11, 1963, in Bihar.
He is a BSc-LLB student, and he joined the Bihar Bar Council on September 27, 1991, as a lawyer.Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah started his practice as a lawyer in the Patna High Court and argued cases in the Supreme Court, Delhi, Calcutta and Jharkhand High Courts.
Also, he served as Government Standing Council of Bihar from 2006 to 2010.On June 20, 2011, he was appointed as a Patna High Court Judge.
He is currently the fourth judge in the Patna High Court.He will continue to be the second judge in the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
Also, the High Court will give farewell to Chief Justice Arup Kumar Goswami, who is being transferred to Chhattisgarh.After the swearing-in of Justice Amanullah, the High court will give farewell to Justice Goswami.
