The Andhra Pradesh state government is on high alert as the number of Omicron cases in AP is increasing gradually.CM Jagan will conduct a review with the government officials today, December 27, 2021, on the steps to be taken to curb the spread of the Omicron variant in the state.
In the meeting, CM Jagan will discuss the imposition of restrictions on New Year celebrations as well as the imposition of night curfew in the state.The number of Omicron cases in the AP has already reached six.
Many states in the country have already imposed restrictions on new year celebrations to prevent the spread of Omicron.While night curfew is being enforced in many states, it is known that some other states have imposed restrictions on New Year celebrations.
With this, Andhra Pradesh also seems to be following the same path.At present, the number of Omicron cases in AP is limited to single digits.
It seems that the government does not intend to take any risk.With this, the Andhra Pradesh state govt decided to impose restrictions on new year celebrations in the state.
The number of Omicron affected states increased to 19 from 17.So far, 578 omicron cases have been reported in the country.
