BJP national general secretary and MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Thursday announced that he will contest from Karimnagar constituency in ensuing Assembly elections if the Parliament and Assembly elections are held separately.
Bandi Sanjay Kumar, in a media interaction at his constituency on Thursday, claimed the BRS candidates will not even get back their deposits if ‘jamili (joint)’ elections are held.“If Parliament and Assembly elections are held separately, then I am going to contest from Karimnagar Assembly segment.,” he said.
He denied the false propaganda that he was in collusion with minister Gangula Kamalakar.Sanjay said: “Some foolish persons are spreading rumours that I had an understanding with Gangula Kamalakar, which is not true.Since I was in America, I did not visit the court.I had taken permission.”
He made it clear that he does not know the politics of collusion and he is a person who constantly fights on public issues for the sake of the country and dharma.
With regard to his non-appearance in court in his election petition, he said that he could not attend the court hearing because he was attending the Parliament session and was on a trip to America.
