Los Angeles, Sep 7 : The US has confirmed more than 20,000 cases of monkeypox according to the most up-to-date information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).An estimated total of 20,733 cases of monkeypox had been reported across the nation in the week of Tuesday morning, Xinhua news agency reported using CDC data.
California was the state with the highest number of instances with 3,833 then New York with 3,526 and Florida with 2,126 the data showed.
So far , the US has the most extensive list of cases of monkeypox.
