Kolkata 6 August : The Enforcement Directorate (ED) probing the multi-crore teacher recruitment scam in West Bengal has come across up to 50 bank accounts that are owned either in conjunction or individually by the prime suspect Partha Chatterjee as well as his close aid Arpita Mukherjee.
The agency’s representatives have contacted all bank officials concerned and requested the details of the statement and, after that, the statements will be provided to an audit forensic.

In the meantime, ED investigators have uncovered another fraudulent company in this manner, in which the names of directors were changed numerous of times since it was launched on March 23rd in 2012.

In addition, it is the address of Arpita Mukherjee’s home where the ED detectives found a huge stash of gold and cash on July 28.

According to the ED when the company was created on March 23 in 2012, the directors included Partha Chatterjee’s wife who died late Babli Chatterjee and daughter Sohini (Bhattacharya) Chatterjee and son-in-law Kalyanmoy Bhattacharya.

In 2016 the names of the wife and daughter were taken off the list of directors, and Arpita Mukherjee’s name was also added.

According to Corporate Affairs Ministry records, the two directors of the business are Mrinmoy and Ranesh Kumar Singh.

“The names of directors changing frequently indicates something fictitious in this company.Most likely, this is a shell company that was used to funnel funds to various channels.We are now trying to determine the identities of the directors who are currently in charge, Mrinmoy Malakar and Ranesh Kumar Singh, as well as their connections with Partha Chatterjee as well as Arpita Mukherjee.” the ED official told.

ED has summoned Sohini (Bhattacharya) Chatterjee and Kalyanmoy Bhattacharya to inquire in this regard.Both are currently residing in the US and the ED has sent an email message to them, asking for them to go to Kolkata as soon as possible.
