The Police Department has decided to conduct ‘e-Lok Adalat’ with pending challans (discounts) across Telangana from the beginning to the end of March.Due to this, without any expectation during the month of March 1-31 .The portal is updating the portal so that motorists can pay their pending motions at a discount on the e-challans website (https://echallan.tspolice.gov.in/publicview).For the 6.19 crore traffic violation cases registered in the last four years .Rs.A fine of Rs 2,300 crore was imposed.However .so far only half of these total fines have been levied.The police department has announced special concessions for the collection of remaining fines.

Two-wheelers can make payments in e-Lok Adalat at a discount of up to 75 per cent of the total chela.For example .Rs.If 1,000 chalana is pending .the subsidy given by the police department is only Rs.250 is enough to pay.The service charge for this pending payment is Rs.35 will be charged additionally.

Similarly, in the case of pending challans, the authorities have sent proposals to the DGP’s office suggesting a 50 per cent discount for cars and 30 per cent for buses.The next step is for the DGP in charge to seal the deal.

Authorities are making changes to the e-challan portal in line with the e-Lok Adalat.Until now, when the vehicle number was registered on that portal .the amount of the violation chalana was visible.But now the authorities are preparing a website for discounted payments.

This will make it easier for motorists to clear their pending circulation from the beginning of March.These services are currently temporarily unavailable due to portal update work in progress.

Officials made it clear that the portal would be available again soon.

All over Telangana under the Disaster Management Act for violations of mask rules due to corona epidemic .Rs.1,000 officers were fined.Since March 2020, more than 13 lakh cases have been registered in this regard.135 crore is due.

Police officials also hope to make payments through the e-Lok Adalat to collect the pending amount.But .the full terms of this have not been decided yet.It seems that the authorities will soon reveal the full details in this regard.
