A JNTU affiliated engineering college would be set up soon in the Rajanna Sircilla district.JNTU officials have been trying to conduct the classes from this academic year.
Initially, the college plans to start with four to six branches of Engineering like Computer Science, Civil, Mechanical and ECE departments.
In the wake of the recent visit of CM KCR to Rajanna Sircilla district, he directed the authorities to set up an engineering college.
With this, the officials geared up the process.A team of officials led by the District Collector is looking for suitable buildings for the college management.
Once the officials are done with the selection of buildings, the authorities will conduct field inspections and approve the permissions for the college.
In addition, the JNTU Officials have decided to resume the M.sc courses like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at JNTU.These courses were closed two and a half days ago and are going to be resumed from this year.
The admission for these courses would be based on the CPGET exam.The CPGET notification is likely to be released by the end of this month.
The state government might issue orders on the commencement of PG courses by the end of July.
