In this context, the TDP is set to stage a statewide protest demanding a reduction in VAT on petrol and diesel prices.TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has called on party workers to stage protests at petrol bunks across the state from 12 noon to 1 pm on Tuesday.
TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy ignored the promises he made during the election campaign.On this occasion, Chandrababu reminded that Jagan had promised to completely abolish VAT on petrol and diesel in the state if YCP comes to power.He criticized CM Jagan for ignoring this.He said the Andhra Pradesh government was not taking any steps to reduce oil prices.
Chandrababu accused the Jaganmohan Reddy government of rising petrol and diesel prices.
On this occasion, Chandrababu Naidu alleged that the fuel prices hiked due to corruption, extravagance and incompetent administration.
