Kabul, December 13, 2013 : .Authorities under the Taliban government have begun reconstruction of roads and bridges in Kandahar provinces that were destroyed during wars over the last two decades.
According to Xinhua, 53 of the 103 bridges and culverts have been reconstructed.The rest of the structures are being built.
Officials noted that road reconstruction work is underway to connect the city of Kandahar to the Spin Boldak, and Shorabak areas.This will be finished in the near future.
Health clinics and schools damaged during war in the past two decades will also be rebuilt in parts of the Kandahar province, the official added.
