Udaipur 30 August : India is no more weak and is now the most powerful nation in the world the Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said here on Tuesday.After unveiling the statue of Panna Dai, a 16th-century nursemaid in the 16th century, the Defence Minister also stated that the war between Ukraine and Russia was halted for a short period of time at the request of Premier Narendra Modi, and that the government was able to bring back more than 22,000 Indian students from the war-ravaged region.
“Such the incident is likely to not repeat itself in the near future,” he said after unveiling the 9.6 feet tall statue.
Panna Dai is known sacrificing her son to ensure the future of Mewar in Rajasthan.In 1535, when Mewar Scion Udai Singh was placed in her care following the infamous act of Rani Karnavati the crime of ‘Jauhar’ in 1535, he was attacked by his uncle Banvir.
The culprit was Panna Dai who sacrificed her own son’s life to save Udai Singh.
In his remarks, Rajnath Singh said, “I consider myself fortunate to have been able to unveil this statue.
The legend of Panna Dai’s deed is well-known to everyone.I was also moved by her courage and bravery.”
“India hasn’t intruded into any country until date and has not ever occupied any area.If anyone observes our nation with an unkind eye, we offer an appropriate response,” he added.
Concerning the country’s army, the Defence Minister stated, “We will soon stop purchasing ammunition and weapons from other countries as everything will be made in India.We are currently selling weapons worth 13,000 crore.
In the past, that figure was only 90 crore.In 2047, the figure will rise to the amount of 2.75 lakh crore.”
“‘Amrit Kaal’ is ending in 2047, and is another 25 years.In 2047, India will become a “Vishwaguru,”” he added.
Praise Rajasthan, he said the soil of the state tells the tale of women with courage as he was reminded of the sacrifices that were made by Panna Dai and Hadi Rani among others.
Hadi Rani was an ebullient queen of Rajasthan who gave up her life to convince her husband to fight an engagement.
In remembrance of Panna Dai Singh stated, “She did not care about being called a ‘kumata’ because she sacrificed her son.She had one goal — to protect Mewar’s kingdom.of Mewar.”
Union Minister of State Krishan Pal Singh Gurjar was also present at the event that was attended by all MLAs and MPs from Udaipur district.
The ceremony was initially planned to take place in June.
However, was delayed due to demonstrations in opposition to the Agnipath scheme to recruit short-term soldiers into the armed forces.
