The number of Covid cases in India is declining.In the last 24 hours, 1,27,952 new cases of Covid were registered in the country.Day before yesterday 1,49,394 cases were registered while the number of cases dropped by nearly 22,000 yesterday.1,059 people died due to Covid yesterday.
There are currently 13,31,648 active cases in the country.So far 4,20,80,664 people in the country have been infected with Covid and 5,01,114 of them have died due to Covid and other causes, according to a bulletin released by the Union Health Ministry today.The daily positive rate in the country has reached 7.98 per cent.The corona recovery rate was 95.64 percent.2,30,814 people recovered from Covid yesterday.The number of people who have recovered from Covid so far has reached 4,02,47,902.
Corona tests have been performed on 73,79,32,233 people in India so far.Yesterday alone, 16,03,856 people were tested.The Center said 1,411 government labs and 1,844 private labs were available to the public for corona tests across the country.Corona vaccination, on the other hand, has been going on in the country for the last 386 days to combat Covid.o far 168,98,17,199 people have been vaccinated across the country.47,53,081 people were vaccinated against corona yesterday.
