New Delhi, Sep 1 : The Delhi Assembly on Thursday passed the motion of confidence’, which was proposed by the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal following claims that the BJP is trying to overthrow the AAP government.The motion was not voted down by any one.motion, as the majority of BJP MLAs were not present in the House.
Three of BJP MLAs were escorted out of the Assembly for the duration of the session following an argument with the Deputy Speaker Rakhi Birla who refused to think about their demand to pick off their call-attention notices prior to discussion on the motion of no-confidence.
The remainder of the MLAs of the party left of the House shortly after.
“We presented a motion of confidence today to show Operation Lotus has failed.
There is no evidence that any of our MLAs has changed side,” Kejriwal said while speaking at the meeting.
Speaking out against the saffron party he declared: “The BJP is investigating every spot in which the AAP has done an excellent job.In the wake of Manish Sisodia’s arrest, I believe that our percentage of votes will rise.”
He declared that “AAP’s vote share is increasing by 4 percent in Gujarat after the raid against Manish Sisodia.It could rise to 6 percent when Manish Sisodia is detained”.
“A total of 69 cases have been filed against 49 of our MLAs, of 35 cases in the process of being resolved.A total of 16 cases were lodged against me, and I have been cleared in 12 instances.13 cases were filed against Manish and I was acquitted in 10 instances.4 cases were filed against Satyendaa Jain, and she was acquitted in two instances,” the Chief Minister declared.
Fake case has been brought against Sisodia the Chief Minister said and added that he acknowledged the investigation but did not threat with defamation cases.
CBI raided Sisodia’s house and then went to his village.They also searched his bank locker but did not find anything, Kejriwal said.
