The corona third wave continues in India.The number of corona cases is increasing exponentially with more than one lakh per day.However, the number of corona cases today is slightly lower than yesterday.According to the latest health bulletin released by the Union Ministry of Health, 1,49,394 new corona positive cases have been reported in the country in the past 24 hours.
This brings the total number of corona cases in the country to 4,19,52,712.The number of active corona cases in the country reached 14,35,569.The corona positivity rate in the country is 96.60 percent.The latest death toll from Corona in the country was 1,072, bringing the total to 5,00,055.
In the past 24 hours, 2,46,674 people across the country have recovered from the corona.
The number of recoveries nationwide reached 4,00,17,088.To date, the Union Ministry of Health has vaccinated 168.47 crore people across the country.In India, the daily rate of cases is 9.27 per cent.Corona cases are down 13% more than yesterday.
Out of this, 335 deaths were reported from the southern state of Kerala that has, for weeks, been updating data with deaths from last year.
