Patna 25 Aug : Leader of the opposition in Bihar Legislative Council Samrat Chaudhary, in controversial remarks in the upper house on Thursday, stated the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s “political NDA is bad”.The BJP lawmaker made the declaration in the presence of Nitish Kumar as well as the Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav and Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Chaudhary during the hearing.
While the Minister was addressing an inquiry, Samrat Chaudhary, interrupting him to ask a question, stated: “No one could understand why Nitish Kumar moved from one place to the next.He occasionally saw this side , and sometimes this side.The political DNA of his father is a problem.”
At this point, Tejashwi Yadav stood up and replied: “You stayed in my party, then joined JD-U and now you’re in BJP.What do you think of you?”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had first criticised Nitish Kumar’s “DNA” during the 2015 Assembly campaign for the 2015 Assembly elections.
A special session of the Legislative Council was conducted for the newly elected Chairperson Devesh Chandra Thakur to take the helm.
He is the 12th chairperson of the Legislative Council.
