Los Angeles, Aug 22 : “Havana” hitmaker Camila Cabello and the legendary composer Hans Zimmer have joined forces to compose and record the song “Take Me Home Home” for the docuseries of six episodes”Frozen Planet II” according to Billboard.
The track will first premiere on BBC Radio 1 on Friday, August 26 ahead of a first-look trailer for the Sir David Attenborough-narrated series.

According to Billboard, BBC announced the collaboration last week, noting that ‘Take me Back Home’ will feature Cabello’s voice with the orchestration of Zimmer.

Billboard adds it was Cabello and Zimmer collaborated with arranger Anze Rozman and producer Russell Emanuel for Bleeding Fingers Music.”My life is an unrealized fantasy,” Cabello wrote on Twitter where she shared the details with fans.

In an announcement to the BBC as reported in a statement to the BBC, and later by Billboard, she added: “To be in a position to combine my passion of the world we live in and my musical talent is a dream that has come real – not to mention working with the legend of Hans Zimmer.Frozen Planet II is awe-inspiring and Sir David’s voice is powerful as we work to save these amazing ecosystems from the effects of global warming.I’m incredibly grateful to contribute my voice to this inspirational series.”

Zimmer stated: “It was hugely exciting creating and recording ‘Take me Back Home’ with Camila and discovering that her musical abilities are as impressive as her voice.The Bleeding Fingers team and I are extremely privileged to have been given the chance to score such a groundbreaking and significant natural history landmark like Frozen Planet II.”
