Goa Forward has questioned the government over how the fund was used and requested that it be removed in the public domain.

“We have sent an email to the Chief Secretary in this regards.
If the government does not install toilets in Goa and the surrounding areas, then we will go to the High Court to seek direction,” She said.

Goa Forward Party MLA Vijai Sardesai, in the last assembly session , had demanded to install toilets each 3 and 5 kilometers distance to women.
“Women commission should instruct the Public Works Department to establish toilets.
Today, women who travel don’t drink water since there aren’t any toilets.Even if they do (at certain places) they’re not safe.
Because of this urinary tract infection, it occurs,” Sardesai had said.
