Ottawa 8 September : Canadian police said that a second suspect of the two suspects in a series of fatal stabbings in Saskatchewan province was identified and detained.The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) announced on Twitter that the suspect in question identified as Myles Sanderson was found and taken into custody close to Rosthern in Saskatchewan at around 3:00 p.m.Wednesday evening, Xinhua news agency reported.
“There is no longer a threat for public safety in connection with the investigation at hand,” the police said.
On Sunday, 10 were killed following shootings in 13 places in James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon of the province in central Canada.
The police have confirmed that the two suspects were brothers and one of them was dead, bringing the total of the tragedy up to 11 people who died and 19 wounded.
