Prabhakaran who was in the front of the group of people who wanted to see a change in the workings of the AIFF and did not participate in the AIFF elections that took place on Friday.

The decision in this regard could be taken at the meeting of the executive committee of AIFF scheduled for Saturday.

“My goal from the AIFF team is that as the team is new will receive the best guidance and support from anyone is possible and I will be available for any kind of assistance.

This way, we can progress and create a positive and welcoming environment in which Indian football receives the right news in the context of going forward,” he had said.

The transition has taken place in AIFF and a new AIFF team under the direction of Chaubey has been appointed The decision to appoint Prabhakaran as the General Secretary could be made at the executive committee’s meeting.
