Islamabad 18 August : At at least 14 people have been killed and 14 were were injured in the heavy rains that triggered flash floods in the past 24 hours in Pakistan the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) announced.
According to a study released by the NDMA at the very most five kids and eight women were among those who died according to Xinhua news agency.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province was the most affected region with 10 killed then Sindh with four deaths The NDMA said.

The report stated that 352 homes were destroyed in the country.

The number of deaths in Pakistan due to this year’s monsoon rains, which began in mid-June, is 649, comprising the deaths of 139 women and 238 kids, as well with 1,030 people injured according to the NDMA stated.
