Mumbai 13 August : The actor Himanshu Malhotra is seen as Major Rajeev Kapoor in Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s ‘Shershaah’.The film has been completed for one year ago, he recalls working in it and shares some BTS scenes from the set.
He states: “It’s a really magical beautiful, heart-wrenching, beautiful film that I am incredibly grateful for.I spent the better part of an entire year shooting in Palampur, Kargil and Chandigarh.I remember that article 370 was being discussed during the time, therefore there was no Internet and no phones.”
“So what we did was enjoy our own music jamming sessions and eat our meals together.The film also brought me in contact with actors such as Sidharth Malhotra Shiv Pandit and Niketan Dheer, who later became my best friends.We travel together, and exploring new locations, and sharing experiences has helped us build an incredible connection.”
He also discusses his experiences working with the director, and says: “On the set, director Vishnuvardhan and writer Sandeep Srivastava were constantly active and engaged.Their hard work is greatly appreciated.”
“Then there are assistant directors like Altamash and Salman who’s work has made us at ease.When we watched the film following the shoot, it was it was a humbling experience.”Shershaah” is element of my legacy right now.We are all happy of the fact that it is a part of my legacy,” he concludes.
