New Delhi, Dec 8, 2008 : Rajkumar Chahar, National President of BJP Kisan Morcha, and Lok Sabha MP, Fatehpur Sikri, Uttar Pradesh, appealed to farmer organizations to end the “dogma”, and return to their homes by ending the agitation.Chahar told IANS that Prime Minister NarendraModi had taken back farm laws with a big heart.
These organisations had their own slogan, “Bill wapsi nahi ghar wapsi nahi”.Now that these bills have been repealed, they should get out of the “dogma” by returning to their homes and ending the agitation.
He stated that the government is also creating a committee to determine minimum support price (MSP) and considering other demands.
The BJP MP described the continuation of the agitation in this way: “Politically motivated”.He said that it seemed to be proving true, that the opposition parties as well as these farmer organisations are “doing political” on the issues facing farmers.
Chahar, who was referring to the former president of Congress, said that the entire country understood the “intentions” of Rahul Gandhi.
Rahul says he wants to “spread chaos” in the country and he also said that Congress has been in power for a long time, but they “neither spoke about MSP nor thought about farmers”.
