Teachers’ protests continue across Telangana demanding the immediate abolition of 317 G.O.violating the rights of teachers and employees.The BRK Bhavan was raided on Monday under the auspices of the Telangana Principals Association, alleging that they had been severely wronged by the 317 GO.Principals initially marched to the BRK Bhavan in Hyderabad on Monday morning to demand transfers to the desired zones.They demanded that the 317 GO be abolished and justice be done to them, allowing for mutual transfers of teachers.
The principals, who have already met GAD Principal Secretary Vikas Raj, submitted the petition.
Teachers on Monday raided the home of Education Minister Sabita Indrareddy demanding the abolition of 317 G.O.The lecturers who come to the minister’s house, the police blocked the teachers.The principals were angry that the 40 principals who had been transferred to other zones were from the joint Sangareddy district.
Officials said the transfers were made in accordance with GAD regulations.
On the other hand, the police have rushed to Pragathi Bhavan as part of the teacher’s protest.While there is advance information that teachers have reached the city in vehicles from every other district.
Police are thoroughly checking the vehicles coming towards Pragati Bhavan.
