Kabul (12/12/IANS) An unidentified group of armed men shot and killed a scholar from Afghanistan’s west Farah Province, according to a senior official.Badrudin is the head of the provincial culture and information division.
The murder occurred on Saturday in Farah capital.After the crime was committed, the perpetrators fled, according to Xinhua news agency.
Badrudin stated that security personnel launched an operation to find the perpetrators.
No group or individual has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.
