Hyderabad, November 12, : , Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor, said Friday that no country can be constructed where the rule of law is broken, people are not safe, and law enforcement officers are corrupt, weak and partisan.Hyderabad, Nov 12, 2012 : Ajit Doval, the National Security Advisor for India, stated Friday that no nation could be built in areas where the rule and administration of justice has been weakened, where citizens aren’t secure, or where there is corruption and weakness among law enforcement officials.

He said that they play a crucial role in building a nation through law enforcement.Addressing trainee police officers from Indian Police Service at Sardar Vallabhbhai Padal National Police Academy (SVPNPA), he stated that they are vital in the nation’s building and enforcement of laws.

“Quintessence of democracy does not lie in the ballot box.The ballot box is not the source of true democracy.”The ballot box does not contain the essence of democracy.It lies in the laws made by people who are elected through those ballot boxes.

The laws that are made through these ballot boxes reflect the essence of democracy.It is in laws created by those who have been elected using these ballot boxes.You are the enforcers of laws.They are the law enforcers.Your job is to enforce laws.Laws are not as good as they are made.The laws are only as good as the people who make them.They aren’t as effective as what they say.Laws are as good as they are executed and implemented and the service that people are able to get out of it,” he said after reviewing the colourful Dikshant Parade.After reviewing the Dikshant Parade, he stated that laws are only as good as how they’re implemented and what the people can get out of them.”He said that only laws can be as effective as their execution and implementation, and as the services people get from them,” he added after reviewing the Dikshant parade.

A total of 132 officer trainees of 73rd batch of IPS and 17 officers of Bhutan, Maldives and Nepal passed out of the academy after 46 weeks of phase-1 training.After 46 weeks of phase-1 training, 132 officers trainees from the 73rd batch were released by the academy.

Following 46 weeks’ phase-1 training, 132 officer-trainers of the 73rd Batch of IPS as well 17 officers from Bhutan, Maldives, and Nepal were eligible to leave the academy.

Darpan Ahluwalia, a Punjab cadre woman IPS probationer led the passing out parade.
