While corona cases are declining in India, the rising death toll is worrying.From 8 a.m.Sunday to 8 a.m.Monday, 2,09,918 new corona cases were reported in the country.The details were revealed by the Union Ministry of Health in the Covid-19 Health Bulletin released on Monday.In the last 24 hours across the country, 959 people have died from the pandemic.
With this, the number of corona deaths in India has reached 495050 so far.If the situation continues like this, corona deaths in India will cross the 5-lakh mark in another two weeks.There are currently 18,31,268 active corona cases in the country.The daily positivity will reach 15.77%.The week positivity rate will drop to 15.75%.
Between 8am on Sunday and 8am on Monday, 2,62,628 people recovered from the epidemic, bringing the total number of people who have recovered so far to 3,89,76,122.The recovery rate in the country has reached 94.37%.A total of 13,31,198 people underwent corona tests in the last 24 hours and a total of 72.89 crore people underwent corona tests so far.Corona vaccine distribution will continue across the country.So far, 166.03 crore vaccine doses have been administered, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.In addition, the Union Ministry of Health has said that 12 crore vaccine doses are available in the states and union territories.
