Ameesha Patel, the actress playing Sakina in Gadar 2, has given away an important detail about the film.In a recently released teaser, there was a scene showing Tara Singh (played by Sunny Deol) sitting near a grave and crying, leading many to speculate that he was mourning the loss of Sakina.
However, Ameesha clarified on her Instagram account that Sakina is not dead in Gadar 2.
Ameesha took to social media to address her concerned fans.She reassured them by saying, “Hey all my lovely fans! Many of you have been worried about this particular shot from Gadar 2, thinking it’s Sakina who is dead! Well, it’s not! I can’t reveal who it is, but it’s definitely not Sakina! So please don’t worry! Love you all.”
Nevertheless, Ameesha’s revelation received mixed responses from fans.Some expressed their disappointment, suggesting that the spoiler would affect the audience’s anticipation and experience of the film.One fan wrote, “Why are you spoiling the movie before its release? People would have gone in anticipation of something happening to Sakina.Now you have limited the audience by giving away the spoiler.” Another fan commented, “Yeah, we don’t want Sakina dead.”
Gadar 2 serves as the sequel to the 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.Directed by Anil Sharma, the film is set to release in theaters on August 11.Apart from Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol, the movie also features Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur, and Luv Sinha.Interestingly, Gadar 2 will be competing with Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal and Akshay Kumar’s Oh My God 2 at the box office.
