Etawah 22 Aug : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered an investigation into the mysterious death of medical student the body of whom was found hanging from the ceiling within the hostel of Saifai Medical College in Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah district.The relatives of the deceased have accused that it is an suspected murder case.of murder.
The Superintendent of Police (rural), Satyapal Singh said to journalists that the body of 19-year-old Gupta who was a first-year MBBS student, was found hanging from the ceiling of a fan in his room on Sunday.
The deceased was the resident of Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur district, according to police.
The police have taken the body to be examined post-mortem.
The mother of the deceased has claimed that her son was murdered, and has urged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister to request an CBI investigation.
She also claims that there were some injuries marks on Himanshu’s body.
The Samajwadi Party in a tweet described the incident as “extremely saddening” and demanded financial help of one crore rupees to the family of the deceased.
