In Andhra Pradesh, public interest litigation was filed in the High Court seeking cancellation of Tenth and Intermediate board examinations.The petition was filed by students and parents of the students who did not want to consider the government’s request to conduct examinations under any circumstances in the wake of the Corona Second Wave.
The increase in the death toll is increasing concern among the people.
Parents opined that conducting Tenth and intermediate board examinations during the current Corona crisis, would endanger the lives of students.
TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh has written a letter to the government asking it to cancel or postpone the examinations.
However, the government has said it condust the tests without hesitation.
Lokesh has set up a WhatsApp number to get the views of students and their parents in this regard.For this, millions of people sent messages asking them to cancel the tests.
Also, in a meeting held online, the majority of students and their parents said that they need their lives rather than the future.Recently, the students and their parents filed a petition in the High Court seeking the cancellation of the exams, citing the situation of the state in the wake of the second wave of Corona.
