Hero Rana never shied off from venturing into new projects of different genres.It does not come as a surprise when new directors approach Rana offering unique characters.Director Prabhu Solomon is a noted name in the Tamil film industry.He rose to fame with romantic tragedy film Mynaa that released in 2010.
His upcoming venture Aranya starring Rana as the ‘elephant man’ is all set to hit screens on April 2.Talking about the movie, the star hero had a lot to say.
‘The film is inspired from the life of Jadhav Payeng of Assam, who planted forests in 1300 acres.Aranya also deals with the relationship and bonding between nature and the man.
I really thank the director for giving me such a wonderful film, and it had helped me rediscover who I am’, said Rana.Talking about the efforts put into this film, Director Prabhu Solomon stated that, they had auditioned for the role of ‘Leader’ Elephant in the movie.
‘We shot the movie with 30 elephants, and also did an audition for the leading one.That is how perfect we want to get each frame’, said the director.
The teaser made it clear that there would be a confrontation between Baldev (Rana) and Real Estate mafia in the film.
