This was in spite of lawyers protesting in the courtroom.
The court of Chief Metropolitan Magistratrate Gajender Singh Nagar witnessed turbulent scenes, with Khosla supporters raising slogans during the hearing.

Kohli stated that Khosla does not respect the rule of law during the hearing.

She said that he loves to abuse the court and asked why he was allowed to enter the courtroom with so many lawyers.

Birender Sangwa, Khosla’s counsel, claimed that the court was favoring the complainant in every way and that the complainant took unduel advantage of her position as a judge.

After hearing the arguments, Khosla was ordered to pay Rs 40,000 total compensation to the victim and the state.

The conviction of the former chief of the apex bar association stirred controversy, with the Bar Council of Delhi declaring a strike in support of Khosla.

The Delhi High Court Women Lawyers Forum, on the other hand, condemned the Co-ordination Committee of the District Court Bar Associations’ one-day protest against the verdict convicting him.

Later, the Bar Council of India directed the Bar Council of Delhi that it immediately withdraw its call for a strike against the conviction.

According to the BCD, the issue would be addressed by the Coordination Committee and the Chief Justice of Delhi High Court.
