Indian actress Aishwarya Rajesh, known for her work in Tamil cinema, has been making waves with her recent film, Farhana.During a promotional interview, Aishwarya spoke about her experience in the Telugu film industry and expressed her desire to make a comeback in a Telugu film that would make her family proud of her roots.
She mentioned her previous collaboration with Vijay Deverakonda in the Telugu movie World Famous Lover but admitted that it didn’t meet her expectations.
In the interview, Aishwarya also made an interesting comment about Rashmika Mandanna’s performance in the film Pushpa, where she portrayed the character of Srivalli.
Aishwarya claimed that she could have been a better fit for the role than Rashmika Mandanna, stating that she believed she would have suited the character more if given the opportunity.
Aishwarya Rajesh gained recognition for her role in the Tamil film Kaaka Muttai, which won her the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress in 2014.
She has showcased her acting skills in various other Tamil movies such as Boomika, Driver Jamuna, The Great Indian Kitchen, Soppana Sundari, Run Baby Run, and more.She also appeared in the Hindi film Daddy alongside Arjun Rampal.
Her roles in Vetrimaran’s Vada Chennai as ‘Padma’ and her solo film Kanaa, where she played the role of ‘Kousalya Murugesan,’ are considered to be her best performances.
Currently, Aishwarya Rajesh is actively promoting her recently released film, Farhana, where she plays the lead role of a Muslim girl forced to work in a call center.Directed by Justin Prabhakaran and produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the movie hit theaters on May 12, 2023.The film also features Jithan Ramesh, Aishwarya Dutta, and Selvaraghavan in prominent roles.
