Telangana BJP president and Union minister Kishan Reddy on Saturday questioned the BRS on boycotting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s programme in Warangal and predicted that the move will boomerang on Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao and the ruling party.
“He may have boycotted Modi’s programmes but little does he know that the people of Telangana have decided to boycott him and the BRS,” Kishan Reddy declared.
Addressing the public meeting in Warangal in Modi’s presence, Kishan Reddy said the people understood the scale of corruption of the BRS government and this was the reason for the party and the Chief Minister to run scared.
“The day is near when every section of the society in Telangana will boycott the BRS.And people know that BRS and Congress are working together, and will reject both of them in the coming elections.We will take our battle to them under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership,” he said.
Kishan Reddy also slammed the AIMIM, which, he said, has become “synonymous for goondaism, and rowdyism,” both activities which are being supported by the BRS and its government.
Returning to the theme of the public boycotting the BRS government, Kishan Reddy said people have many reasons to do so.
“These include the destroying of future of lakhs of youth as a result of the TSPSC question paper leak scam, not paying the promised unemployment allowance, for failing to implement Dalit Bandhu, not giving the promised three acres of land to Dalits, not clearing farm loan waiver dues and not providing free fertilizer to farmers as promised among other reasons,” he said.
