The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is facing the desertion in Telangana region.Telugu Desam Party (TDP) senior MLA from Nizamabad district, Jukkal MLA Hanmanth Shinde is all set to join the TRS, thus giving a major shock to the TDP and its chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu
Shinde informed the media on Monday that he would be joining the TRS.He said that separate Telangana would be possible only with the TRS, and as long as he continued in TDP, people would think he is an integrationist, though he is fighting for separate Telangana.
Shinde held a meeting with workers and activists of his constituency earlier in the day, and discussed about his joining the TRS.Shinde announced his plans to switch sides after he met the TRS president K Chandrasher Rao in Hyderabad.He said he was joining TRS as he was committed to the cause of Telangana and said many more TDP MLAs had been lined up to quit the party.
Sources say that Adilabad MP Ramesh Rathod and Some of politburo members from Nizamabad and Karimnagar is also likely to enter TRS in the coming days.The joining of important leaders from TDP will in all probability be a big pro-Telangana publicity affair at Hyderabad to be held any day between December 20 and 26.
