Hyderabad: T.Harish Rao, Minister of Telangana State Projects, Irrigation blamed opposition parties and Andhra Pradesh Government for shaping up as stubborn blocks in progress of projects in Telangana.Minister said Supreme Court ruling on Wednesday was a befitting lesson to Andhra Pradesh Government.In fact AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and other opposition leaders hatched a conspiracy to stop projects to Telangana.
Supreme Court decision is a boon to Telangana state and a big relief to the people of Mahboobnagar.Mr.Harish Rao released waters into canals by switching on pumps in phase II of Nettampadu irrigation project, which will irrigate 1.2 lakhs acres, Phase II of Bheema will irrigate 1.6 lakh acres and Koilasagar will irrigate 20,000 acres.

Harish Rao said that CM’s goal is to complete pending projects and try to rope in another 20,000 acres under irrigation loop in Mahaboobnagar district.Minister says, now opposition parties claim the credit of these projects goes to them, if so then how come during their tenure no water was supplied? Already Rs.900 crores is spent and will spend another Rs.2000 crores.Minister said under Jurala project every household will get drinking water next summer, Smt.Aruna is playing politics by padayatra’s, which is not trusted by people of the region.
