This law does not apply to India’s border.China shares its 22.457km land border with 14 countries, including India. This is the longest boundary after Russia and Mongolia.

There are 62 articles in the new border law and 7 chapters. The law requires that the People’s Republic of China will place boundary markers at all of its land borders in order to mark the boundaries.

It is up to the concerned neighboring state to decide what type of marker they want.
