London 2 September : London, September 2 : Tory leadership election will end this Friday with Conservative members able to pick between Liz Truss or Rishi Sunak as the next UK PM, a report in the media stated.The tea-time deadline brings to an end the eight-week race to succeed Boris Johnson in Downing Street following the resignation of the prime minister resigned following protests by Tory MPs according to the Daily Mail reported.
More than 160,000 Tory members have been granted the chance to vote in the final phase of the leadership contest between Truss and Sunak — with the outcome of the vote to be announced during an event in Westminster at lunchtime on Monday.
