Venkatesh and Meena’s “Drushyam” has minted ₹20 crore in 25 days worldwide.The film, which hit the screens on 11 July, took a decent start in India as well as in key overseas markets.The thriller family drama earned approximately ₹16.29 crore share from AP/Nizam box office, while it earned ₹3.50 crore from Karnataka, rest of India and overseas markets.
“Drushyam” is a remake of Malayalam film “Drishyam”, starring Mohanlal and Meena.While Venkatesh stepped into Mohanlal’s role for the Telugu version, Meena reprised her role from the original.
Drishyam is estimated to have been on a budget of Rs.6 crores.So by going the collections it was earned almost triple profit for makers.
