New Delhi, Aug 31 : Delhi on Wednesday announced 377 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours, as against 382 the day before and two deaths in the last 24 hours, the health bulletin reported.While at the same time the Covid positive percentage of the city has gone down to 2.58 percent.The total number of active cases is 2,012, of the which, 1,430 patients are receiving treatment in isolation at home.
With 589 patients being treated in the past 24 hours the number of recoveries has increased to 19,71,136.Delhi’s overall caseload is 19,99617 and the death rate in the city has increased to 26,469.
The amount of Covid areas of confinement is at 189.
The total of 14,632 new tests — 10,176 RTPCR and 4,456 Rapid Antigen was performed in the last 24 hours bringing the total to 3,99,47375.27,900 vaccines were given – 1,823 initial doses, 4,612 subsequent doses and 21,465 pre-vaccine doses.
The number of total beneficiaries who have been vaccinated to date is 3,65,37,824 in accordance with the health bulletin.
