Jaipur 25 Aug : Bharatiya Janata Party state vice-president Mukesh Dadhich on Thursday stated that Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has been on a tour of Gujarat as well as Delhi and cattle in Rajasthan suffer in large numbers due to the ‘Lumpy Skin infection.Dadhich said that there are no efforts being taken by the Rajasthan government to stop the spread of the disease.
“Terrible situation ” prevails in the state.where cows are dying in different locations in villages.
To prevent the spread of the illness, quarantine centers are not being opened in the affected zones of the state at either the private or government level, and neither is vaccination being carried out and resources doctors, veterinarians and personnel are not in place to provide proper veterinary care,” he alleged.
Dadhich said that I ask that the government take this issue into consideration immediately, else the BJP will have to hold protests.
I also request that the government that payment of one lakh rupees be paid to farmers who’s cows have died from the disease, as it was their source of livelihood.
