Mumbai 13 September : The producers of the all-female whodunit series “Hush Hush” unveiled the trailer on Tuesday, and amplified up the excitement for the show.The web series, which will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video on September 22nd, is directed by Tanuja Chandra and stars Juhi Chawla Soha Ali Khan Shahana Goswami Kritika Kamra, Karishma Tanna and Ayesha Jhulka.
It is a tale of an ensemble of women who’s lives change dramatically when an unsolved mystery from their past is revealed.It’s a thrilling mixture of suspense and mystery, as well as emotional rollercoaster.
Chandra was first noticed as a result of her script for Yash Chopra blockbuster ‘Dil Pagal Hai’ and later, for her directing of “Dushman,” she stated: “The female genre has been my passion for a long time, but having a female-first crew and cast is a bit of an opportunity for me.”
She said: “I have loved working on the show ‘Hush Hush’ with an incredible cast and a team who are dedicated to creating something different but also an show that is relevant to the current times that we live in.The fact that we had women in the roles of producers and head of department has made it more memorable.”
Juhi who is making her debut in web-based series after having a leading character in Rishi Kapoor’s previous film’Sharmaji Namkeen’ stated: “The plot of ‘Hush Hush’ caught my attention.I was aware in the blink of an eye that this was a unique project that I’d love to create.”
Another actress making an OTT debut is renowned Bollywood actress of the 1990s, Ayesha Jhulka, who’ll be remembered for her role in ‘Jojeeta Wohi Sikandar’.She was euphoric with her OTT debut and hoped that viewers would show her the same awe she received from them in her movies.She stated that ‘Hush was “the ideal project to begin to make my debut on the digital platform”.
Sharing her experiences of participating in an all-female show, Soha said: “It brought in an atmosphere of excitement and excitement that will be reflected onto the screen for viewers to be able to see.I am sure that the viewers will be engaged throughout the show and be able to relate to the characters.”
Shahana Goswami who last appeared in “Bombay Begums,” said that each character in the show has an engaging story.”Hush Hush,” she said, has an engaging storyline that will pique people’s interest across the globe.
“Each person in the show is completely different kind of woman, and will be relatable to everyone,” she concluded.
