Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni are producing their first feature film under their banner, Dhoni Entertainment.The movie is a Tamil film titled “LGM,” or “Let’s Get Married.” The film stars Harish Kalyan and Ivana in the lead roles, while yesteryear star Nadhiya has an important role.It is directed by Ramesh Thamilmani, and Sakshi conceptualized the story.
The movie is a comedy-drama about a couple and a mother, as seen in the first look poster unveiled by Dhoni on his Facebook page.The poster features the lead actors, Harish Kalyan and Ivana, along with veteran actress Nadiya, in a wedding ring, implying an intense conflict of emotions.
Dhoni expressed in a statement that the film is a family entertainer that will make the audience feel good and leave a smile on their face.He also said “All the best to the entire team.Dhoni Entertainment Pvt Ltd.”
Although it was rumored that Dhoni and Tamil star Vijay would team up for a film, Dhoni announced LGM.However, fans are still hopeful that the two will join hands someday.
Sakshi Dhoni expressed her enthusiasm for producing meaningful stories and being in the film industry.The film’s shoot is expected to be completed soon, and the release date will be announced in a couple of months.Ramesh Thamilmani, the director of the film, has composed the music for ‘LGM’.
Yogi Babu and R.J.Vijay are also playing significant roles in the film.Harish Kalyan expressed his excitement about Dhoni unveiling the first look poster and said, “What more could a die-hard fan ask for? Thank you, sir.This ride only gets better from here.”
Dhoni is currently captaining the Chennai Super Kings in this year’s IPL.The team has won two matches and lost one.
